Here I am with my 20+ years' experience, and all round ability to lead teams, build brands, write, tackle strategy, and deliver exciting concepts for any media.
Layout pad. Fat pen. Competent brief. Comfy chair. Smart thinking partner. Put it all together and what have you got? One contented copywriter. I love this job. The thought-bouncing, brief-prodding, idea-generating, prose-shaping, strategy-bending process of it all is why I became a copywriter. And it’s why I’m still doing it after more than twenty years.
Of course, there’s a webful of writers who like being writers. So, what’s so special about me?
(I’m not keen on this boasty stuff, so bear with me.)

A. My conceptual ability. I think 360, producing ideas not just executions. That’s why I can deliver work in any discipline, for any media space.
B. My strategic approach. I get involved at the planning stage and probe every brief, asking “what do you want to achieve?” rather than “what do you want?”. And I can whip up a persuasive presentation too.
C. My ego-free attitude. No one has ever called me precious about my work. Passionate, yes, but never precious. In fact, I often develop integrated campaigns with creatives in cross-agency teams. It doesn’t have to be my idea to be the best idea (usually is though – insert annoying emoji here).
D. My copywriting. Yeah, obviously, right? Haven’t you heard the tale of “The Copywriter Who Lost All Interest After Presenting The Big Idea”? I still love the graft and craft too.
In summary, I’m a versatile, strategic and highly conceptual copywriter who loves to write copy.
